Denpasar Statistics Week 2024: Increasing Synergy Towards One Data Regulation.

Central Bureau Statistics of Denpasar Municipality and Denpasar Municipality Government through the Denpasar City Communication, Informatics, and Statistics Service (Diskominfos) collaborated to organize the 2024 Denpasar Statistics Week (DPS). With the tagline "Statistik Padu, Denpasar Maju", this activity was carried out to increase the capacity of Human Resources (HR) for statistics organizers, especially at the village and sub-district levels. So that it can accelerate the implementation of One Data Indonesia in Denpasar City. In this event, Dangin Puri Kangin Subdistrict was declared a Desa Cantik (Desa Cinta Statistik) in 2024 and the inauguration of village/sub-district statistics agents throughout Denpasar City was carried out.

This event was opened by the Assistant for the Economy and Development of Denpasar City, Anak Agung Gede Risnawan, who represented the Mayor of Denpasar, I.G.N Jaya Negara at the Taksu Dharma Negara Alaya Building on Tuesday (10/9/2024).

In his remarks, the Assistant for Economic and Development of Denpasar City, Anak Agung Gede Risnawan, said that this activity was also to commemorate National Statistics Day which falls every September 26. He emphasized that statistics are not just numbers, but a reflection of the social, economic, and cultural dynamics that exist in society.

On the same occasion, the Acting Head of the Bali Province BPS, Kadek Agus Wirawan, S.E., M.Agb., conveyed the importance of One Data Indonesia, especially its implementation at the village/sub-district level.

On the first day, September 10, 2024, the event began with Technical Guidance by the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG). In addition, a seminar was held entitled "Social and Economic Dynamics of the Sarbagita Region" presented by Diana Bhakti, an Associate Statistician from Badung Regency. Another seminar discussing inflation was also held with speakers from the Tabanan Regency BPS.

Activities on the second day, September 11, 2024, included a Spatial Data Management Technical Guidance guided by speakers from BIG. Furthermore, there was coaching on the use of social media for the dissemination of statistical information as well as tips and tricks for statistical dissemination delivered by representatives of the Communication and Information Service and the Bali Province BPS. Another seminar themed "Statistics Corner" and research method coaching by the Gianyar Regency BPS also enlivened the event. In closing, the Denpasar City BPS provided a Technical Guidance for Village/Sub-district Statistics Agents.

With various activities held, Denpasar Statistics Week 2024 is expected to be able to increase synergy between various parties in realizing better and more integrated statistical implementation, in order to support the One Data Indonesia program.
