"Bergerak Bersama Menuju Denpasar Maju" (Moving Forward Together Towards a Progressive Denpasar)! This hopeful and spirited tagline celebrates the 237th anniversary of our beloved Denpasar Municapality. To assess the achievements towards a Progressive Denpasar, we can look at strategic indicators within the community, such as the Poverty Rate, Human Development Index, and so on.

Poverty Rate in Denpasar Municaplity from 2021 to 2024 has been decreasing. According to one of the strategic indicators produced by the BPS Statistics of Denpasar Municipality, namely the Poverty Rate, it is known that the percentage of poor people has decreased from 2.96% in 2021 to 2.59% in 2024. This figure illustrates that in 2024, out of 100 residents, 2-3 people live below the poverty line. The poverty line is the amount of money needed by a person to meet their minimum living needs, including food and non-food needs.

Human Development in Denpasar Municipality from 2021 to 2024 has been continuously improving. Human Development Index is measured through a composite index value consisting of 3 dimensions, namely health, education, and a decent standard of living. According to data from the BPS Statistics of Denpasar Municipality, the Human Development Index (HDI) value in Denpasar Municapality has been continuously increasing, reaching 85.11 points in 2024. Based on the HDI achievements, Denpasar Municapality is considered a region with a very high level of development. With such a high level of human development, it is hoped that the tagline "Bergerak Bersama Menuju Denpasar Maju" can be realized.
