Workshop of Sectoral Statistical Metadata Compilation in 2025

Denpasar, 17-20 March 2025 – The Denpasar Municipality Communication, Informatics, and Statistics Office (Diskominfos) together with BPS Statistics of Denpasar Municipality held a Workshop of Sectoral Statistical Metadata Compilation to improve data quality and understanding of regional apparatus in the statistical activity planning process.

The activity, which took place in the Adhi Matra Meeting Room, Graha Sewaka Dharma Building, aimed to provide technical guidance related to the mechanism for submitting statistical activity recommendations through the Romantik system and discussions related to the recapitulation of the sectoral statistical priority data list. With a better understanding of data standards, metadata, interoperability, and reference codes, regional apparatus are expected to be able to prepare more focused and quality statistical activity planning.

Opened by the Head of Statistics Division of the Denpasar Municipality Diskominfos, Dewa Ngakan Ketut Rama Sanjaya, S.Kom, this development was attended by 48 regional apparatus as data producers. Participants receive direct assistance from the Denpasar City BPS regarding the procedures for submitting statistical recommendations in accordance with regulations, so that the data produced can be more accurate, standardized, and useful for policy makers and the wider community.
