The Overview of the Denpasar Municipality Consumer Price Index April 2025

In April 2025, Denpasar Municipality experienced a year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation of 2.69 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 110.31.

This annual inflation was driven by price increases in ten expenditure groups: food, beverage, and tobacco (2.37%); clothing and footwear (2.47%); housing, water, electricity, and household fuels (1.18%); household equipment and maintenance (1.58%); health (3.50%); transportation (1.89%); recreation, sports, and culture (0.50%); education (4.00%); food and beverage/restaurant services (5.09%); and personal care and other services (6.26%). Meanwhile, one group experienced a decline: information, communication, and financial services (-1.31%).

On a month-to-month (m-to-m) basis, Denpasar recorded inflation of 0.69 percent, while year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation stood at 1.99 percent.
