The Overview of the Denpasar Municipality Consumer Price Index January 2025

In January 2025, year on year (y-on-y), Denpasar Municipality experienced inflation of 2.49 percent with a Consumer Price Index of 107.87.

Annual inflation (y-on-y) occurred due to the increase in the prices of observed commodities as indicated by the increase in nine expenditure group indices, namely the food, beverage and tobacco group by 6.29 percent; clothing and footwear group by 1.57 percent; household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group by 1.23 percent; health group by 0.53 percent; transportation group by 2.44 percent; recreation, sports, and culture groups by 2.48 percent; education group by 4.03 percent; food and beverage/restaurant supply group by 9.08 percent; and personal care and other services group by 5.04 percent. Meanwhile, the index of expenditure groups that experienced a decrease was the housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 9.49 percent and the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.93 percent.
