The Overview of the Denpasar Municipality Consumer Price Index March 2025

In March 2025, Denpasar Municipality experienced year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation of 2.53 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 109.55. 

This annual inflation was driven by price increases in nine expenditure groups: food, beverage, and tobacco (4.07%); clothing and footwear (1.47%); household equipment and maintenance (1.77%); health (3.16%); transportation (1.96%); recreation, sports, and culture (1.74%); education (4.00%); food and beverage/restaurant services (7.58%); and personal care and other services (4.32%). Meanwhile, two groups experienced a decline: housing, water, electricity, and household fuels (-3.82%) and information, communication, and financial services (-0.85%). 

On a month-to-month (m-to-m) basis, Denpasar Municipality recorded inflation of 1.69 percent, while year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation was 1.29 percent.
