Analysis of Economic Census Result of 2016 Denpasar Municipality

The publication of "Denpasar Economic Potential" aims to present the results of data collection of Economic Census Listing 2016 (SE2016) in Denpasar City so that can be obtained picture and information related to regional economic potential. This information is very useful for the government in evaluating programs related to the development of potential areas that have been done so far. The SE2016 listing results discussed in this publication are presented through aggregate data up to the district level. This is done because the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) does not release individual data resulting from census or survey activities. The analysis of the SE2016 results is pursued through two different analytical approaches. Firstly, besides looking at the characteristics of the business / company in Denpasar City, the analysis is also done by comparing these characteristics in proportion with the province of Bali as a whole. The aim is to get an idea of ​​the economic position of Denpasar in Bali Province. The second approach is done by LQ and shift-share method.
